“Wisisk” is an interactive tool developed by The North Shore
Mi'kmaq Tribal Council (NSMTC) for children to learn and
discover species that are traditionally significant to the
Mi’gmaw, and their species at risk listing.

I was given the opportunity to create the detailed digital
illustrations, stylized to match the aesthetic of the current
Wisisk species illustrations. My approach involved a
combination of digital painting and vector techniques to
ensure clarity, scalability, and consistency across the site.
